Final decision-making body led by Executive Director, All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS), Gorakhpur and comprising fair representation of all partners.This body plays a crucial role in ensuring a fair and inclusive representation of all partners involved. By bringing together diverse perspectives, it enhances the effectiveness and transparency of the decision-making process.
The scientific arm of the site comprising experts from existing HDSS and community-based research organisations in India or abroad. This Scientific advisory committee (SAC) would provide technical help in the operationalisation of Health and Demographic Surveillance System.
Program management committee (PMC) will be comprised of 4-10 members responsible for the implementation and monitoring of all HDSS activities and reporting to other committees. It will also supervise day to day running of the site. The PMC will receive the proposal both from internal and external researcher and agnecies and forward to the JWG after the screening.
The Joint Working Group(JWG) will work to establish effective and sustainable relationships among all the partners. It will also serve as a think tank to identify pertinent research and training challenges that need to be addressed by the SEWARTH program and forward it to the screening committee for the final approval. It will have representation from all three founding partners
